Established back in 1960 under the name of Eastern Canvas Products by Monte Goldman, developing products for the armed forces, Monte's son convinced him to begin manufacturing a range of day bags and sacks for the growing number of college students that were taking advantage of the excellent quality of the products. And so Eastpak was born.

With the mantra 'Built to resist' at the core of the Eastpak brand, the company has a number of firsts under its belt. Eastpak were the first to use Cordura in its products and to experiment with different colours and prints to create a range of funky and eye-catching designs that the company has come to be recognised for.
