In 1995 Loaded began experimenting, trying to recreate the rush of snowboarding on the pavement with wheels. Fresh powder carving, mastering the art of gliding over ice and the thrill of reaching adrenaline pumping speeds is not easy to mimic but with determination and ignoring the word 'no' Loaded set about doing just that.

Attaching trucks to any board they could find, Loaded spent the next few years testing these prototypes, bolting down hills to find the best designs that would give the rider a pure rush! Loaded even went as far as taking courses in composite and material technologies to put the best into their boards and from 2000, Loaded put their knowledge into practise, developing their boards and creating the contours they wanted from wood and fibreglass. But after constantly being told ‘it can’t be done’ Loaded did exactly what they set out to do – create the best ride.
