While the world was recovering from the party of the millennium, in a damp basement, Chris and Hank were building long skate decks for friends. After throwing together a website, the pair started struggling to meet the demand for Lush Longboards and so found the need to relocate and expand. Lush moved to a grotty Sheffield industrial unit where the brand’s first cambered and concave boards were developed. Just a year later and the need for more space, Lush relocated and spent time restructuring, redeveloping and experimenting with boards and designs.
And eventual move to Bristol saw Lush settle into a new season, take on new people and bring new boards and designs to the masses. Today Lush continues to manufacture longboards as a direct product of its founders skating and having fun.
Lush Longboards are available at Harpoon Louie’s and as Lush have seen, with the Longboarding scene taking off to new heights, there’s never been a better excuse grab a board now and get carving.
